🚗Ride sharing services like Uber, Ola or Food Delivery Services like Zomato, Swiggy have something in common. These services takes an order/request and match the request to the nearest agent (delivery partner / driver).🌐Suppose there were 100 drivers, how to find top 5 nearest to a point? The simple way is to calculate the distance between all the drivers to the point. But that's not really scalable if there were a few hundred thousand drivers and thousands of requests at the same time.📖Quad Trees are an efficient datastructure, that can be used to solve our problem. Each quad tree node has 4 children, representing 4 sub-quadrants of a 2-D plane.Checkout my article explaining Quad Trees which includes a simple implementation in Python!#QuadTrees #RideSharing #FoodDelivery #Algorithms

Ever wondered what happens when you enter a URL🌐into your browser? Let's break it down:1. Deconstructing the URL: A URL consists of three parts: the scheme (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS), the domain (e.g., example-site.com), and the resource path (e.g., /product/electric/phone).2. DNS Resolution: Your browser looks up the domain's IP address using the Domain Name System (DNS). It checks its cache for a previous resolution; if not found, it queries the operating system (OS). The OS, in turn, queries its cache and then forwards the request to the DNS resolver provided by the Internet Service Provider (ISP).3. Establishing Connection: Once the IP is obtained, the browser sets up a TCP connection with the server. For HTTPS, it adds an SSL/TLS handshake for security.4. Routing and Load Balancing: Request packets are routed to the server, often via load balancers to distribute the load. 🔄5. Server Response:The server processes the request and sends back static files (HTML, CSS, etc.).6. Rendering in the Browser: The OS delivers the received content to the browser, which interprets and renders it for display to the user.Understanding this process gives insight into the seamless browsing experience we enjoy. Stay curious! 💡✨ #WebDev101 #TechSimplified

I recently participated in a 48-hour hackathon, and what an incredible experience it was! 💡My team and I took on the challenge of creating something innovative from scratch. The pressure was on, but the adrenaline and passion kept us going non-stop. The thrill of building a project under time constraints was both exhilarating and rewarding. But it wasn't just about the competition; it was also about the collaboration. Working alongside talented individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds was a true highlight. We learned from each other, overcame obstacles together, and had a blast doing it! 🤝In the end, our hard work paid off, and we presented our project with pride. The feeling of accomplishment is indescribable, and I'm so grateful for the experience.Massive thanks to the organizers at American Express for putting together such an amazing event and to my team for their dedication. Here's to many more hackathons and limitless creativity! 🚀👩💻👨💻 #Hackathon #Innovation #Teamwork #CodingPassion
