WE’VE SEEN. NONE THE LESS SEVERE THOUGH, RIGHT. AND SCHOOLS AND BUSINESSES WERE CLOSED HERE TOO. IT’S AN AMAZING TIME OF THE YEAR YOU KNOW. GOSH, A COUPLE WEEKS AGO NOTHING RIGHT. HERE WE GO NOW. REAL WINTER WEATHER AND IT’S STICKING AROUND. WE’VE GOT A LOT TO TALK ABOUT GOING FORWARD OVER THE NEXT WEEK. RANDBY FACTOR TIME EM I SAY FOR THIS EVENING, UNPLEASANT FOR BEING AND WORKING OUTSIDE. I MEAN, BETTER THAN IT WAS THIS MORNING WHERE IT WAS REALLY, REALLY NASTY THIS EVENING. PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES, TEMPERATURES AROUND 20 AS THE SUN SETS WILL DIP BACK INTO THE TEENS. AND LATER ON TONIGHT A FEW CLOUDS AND DOWN AROUND 9 OR 10 IN OMAHA. AND THEN TOMORROW, MAYBE A LITTLE SUN EARLY AND THERE IS A CHANCE IN THE AFTERNOON OF A LITTLE LIGHT SNOW COMING DOWN THIS COMPUTER MODEL SAYS IT COULD BE A MIX HERE FOR MAYBE BRIEFLY, LATE DAY, EARLY EVENING, AND THEN THAT’S GONE. AND THEN IT’S PRETTY QUIET FOR TOMORROW NIGHT. BUT THURSDAY, A BIGGER SYSTEM COMING IN FROM THE WEST. ACCORDING TO OUR LATEST COMPUTER MODELS THAT DO SUGGEST MORE ACCUMULATING SNOW, THIS WILL BE A FLUFFIER SNOW. IT’S GOING TO BE COLDER, BUT SOMEWHERE BETWEEN TWO AND FIVE INCHES FOR OMAHA, AND MORE THAN THAT FOR SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA, NORTHWEST MISSOURI AND SOUTHWEST IOWA. ALL THE SNOWFALL REPORTS AGAIN. I MEAN, IT WAS JUST UNBELIEVABLE. THE SNOW THAT CAME DOWN AROUND COLUMBUS AND SCHUYLER AND WEST POINT, A FOOT OF SNOW IN THOSE AREAS, 10.5IN IN NORFOLK, THE OMAHA METRO. MOST AMOUNTS WERE, SAY, 4 TO 6IN AND EPPLEY AIRFIELD. THE LIGHTEST TOTAL THAT WE’VE SEEN. 3.5IN, 33IN 19. TODAY. SINCE MIDNIGHT, 2100 OF AN INCH OF MOISTURE THAT WILL ADD ON TO THE QUARTER INCH THAT WE HAD SO FAR FOR THIS MONTH. AND THERE’S MORE COMING. SOME SUN, LATE DAY TODAY. THAT’S NICE. 20 DEGREES NORTH. WIND CREATES A FEELS LIKE A WIND CHILL OF FOUR. IT’S 21. MILLER 20 BENNINGTON 19 DEGREES. COUNCIL BLUFFS. 1816 DENNIS SUN CLOUDS HELD ON A LITTLE LONGER OVER IOWA AND AGAIN, THERE’S THAT NORTHWEST BREEZE THAT CREATES A WIND CHILL IN THE SINGLE DIGITS FOR ALMOST EVERYBODY. NO SNOW RIGHT NOW. THE CLOUDS STARTING TO DEPART. THERE ARE A FEW MORE COMING IN FROM THE NORTH STONE. PRETTY GOOD THOUGH. ACROSS EASTERN IOWA, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, LOWER MICHIGAN, AND NOW IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM. AND THIS IS A SUBSTANTIAL PIECE OF ENERGY COMING IN HERE. BUT WE’LL GET A COUPLE OF PIECES OF ENERGY INSTEAD OF ONE BIG STORM SYSTEM. SO HOPEFULLY LIMITING THE SNOW AMOUNTS FOR US. AND AGAIN, THIS SYSTEM COMING DOWN TOMORROW A LITTLE WEAKER FOR RUNNER WITH JUST THAT LITTLE BIT OF LIGHT SNOW POSSIBLE AS WE GET INTO THE LATE DAY AGAIN TONIGHT, TEMPERATURES DIPPING BACK TO NINE, WE STILL HAVE THE IMPACT ICON BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME SLIPPERY SPOTS OUT THERE AND IT IS COLD WITH THE WIND CHILLS. TOMORROW, LOW TEMPERATURES A LITTLE BIT BETTER THAN TODAY, UP TO 30. BUT THERE’S THAT CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW LATE IN THE AFTERNOON AND AND THEN THE SNOW COMING IN LATER THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY. REALLY COULD IMPACT THINGS ON FRIDAY. IT’S POSSIBLE THAT WE MIGHT HAVE ENOUGH SNOW TO CAUSE SOME DISRUPTIONS TO TRAVEL AND BUSINESSES, AND THEN THE EXTREME COLD. WE STAND A CHANCE OF HAVING SEVERAL DAYS WHERE WE DON’T GET ABOVE ZERO FOR A HIGH TEMPERATURE IN THE WIND, CHILLS COULD BE 20 TO 30 BELOW ZERO. WOW. YEAH, BRUTAL. I KN
